We live in a world that glorifies vision. But in the Kingdom, vision isn’t the end goal—fruit is. So how do you know if your calling is bearing fruit, or just creating noise?
Having a big idea doesn’t always mean you’re walking in your divine assignment. Many pursue “God-sized dreams” but never pause to ask: Is this really what God called me to do? The evidence of a true calling is fruit—tangible, lasting, Kingdom-aligned outcomes.
Even Scripture backs this up: “By their fruit you will recognize them.” (Matthew 7:16)
Jon Matthew Romano often guides faith-led founders to evaluate the real-world impact of their work. Are lives changing? Is clarity increasing? Is the mission serving people—or your own platform?
These signs don’t mean you’re failing—they mean you may need to recalibrate. Sometimes, God calls us to pause before He calls us to proceed.
The world measures success by speed and scale. But spiritual fruit looks like:
In Galatians 5:22–23, Paul defines the fruit of the Spirit as love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. If those aren’t increasing in your life, something is off.
Don’t panic. Even healthy trees take time to produce. The key is to examine your soil (your heart), your roots (your faith), and your source (your connection to God). Sometimes the most faithful thing you can do is wait.
As Jon teaches in many of his faith-based leadership insights, Kingdom growth isn’t always visible at first—but it’s always intentional.
Before you chase another big vision, pause and ask: Is this bearing fruit? Because in the Kingdom, calling without fruit isn’t obedience—it’s activity.
Measure the fruit. Re-align the mission. And build what lasts.
